2022 Cotswolds Sloe Gin Competition Winners

A fabulous evening was enjoyed on Saturday when we hosted the 2022 Cotswolds Sloe Gin Competition. It went spectacularly well with 21 submissions of fruity alcohol across the three categories. Winners of the three categories are as follows:

The overall highest scorer of the evening and Champion of Champions was Sally Ashurst for her Crème de Mûre. Long reign the Queen of the BlackBerry!

The Sloe Handclap Wooden Spoon for the lowest scoring drink of the evening went to Wendy Beckmann for not only scoring the lowest of any entry, but in a first for the competition, scored the lowest three scores of the evening…

Over £500 was raised from entry fees, generous donations, and a raffle for #maggiescancercentres Maggie’s in Cheltenham
